Sprinter Gurus FAQ

Sometimes, auto shops forget to reset the computer system in your car to remove the service reminder. However, it’s possible to do it yourself! Simply turn the ignition on so that only the electrical components start. Once you see the mileage, click the 0 on your instrument cluster until it beeps (around 30 seconds). Then move to the Menu button and select Service A or Service B. Select whichever is there and press 0 again – release and repeat. After this is completed, select the button on the steering wheel’s Lower Display Selection and click up until you reach “Complete Service”. The reset button will need to be pressed for a final time, and that should do the trick; it should read “Service Confirmed.”
Your Sprinter Van may not be starting due to an array of possible causes, such as a:
  • Dying/ Dead Battery
  • Weak Ignition System
  • Poor Fuel System
  • Faulty Starter Motor
  • Malfunctioning Security System
  • Sensor Malfunction
  • Wiring Issues
  • Cold Weather Conditions
When in doubt, we’ll check it out! Bring your Mercedes-Benz sedan in for quality repairs and results today!
If you hear beeping in the cabin of your Mercedes Sprinter, it’s a warning that shouldn’t be ignored. More often than not, it’s usually just stemming from an open door or unfastened seat belt. However, in other cases, it can be signaling low fuel, parking sensor errors, or even worn brake pads and rotors.
A check engine light could be caused by a variety of internal problems, ranging from mild to severe. If the light turns on and remains steadily illuminated, make a note to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. If it’s flashing, we encourage you to bring it in immediately. We always recommend pulling over at the next safest opportunity and inspecting under the hood to see if it’s critical enough to keep driving.
Having no air blowing in your Sprinter van could be caused by numerous things, including:
  • Faulty cabin air filter
  • Broken blower motor
  • Air distribution actuator malfunction
  • Low refrigerant charge
  • Climate control unit issue
Rather than stressing out to inspect and fix it yourself, our auto service professionals will get your Sprinter Van’s air blowing in no time!
